The month of November Dewon had training so I went home and spent time with my family in Tallahassee and Ocala. Well between the traveling, chest tightness and fluid over loads I ended up in the emergency room. I had taken a lasix booster to help me get the fluid off and we were worried my potassium had dropped too low. After getting tested they told me my potassium was fine and that I was actually dehydrated. I was discharged and went home to rest and get some fluids back in me. I guess the medication I had taken did too good of a job and drained me dry. During my trip I only had one other incident at my brother and laws. But like the rest of my family he knew what to do and got me in bed and pain pills in me. I had a great trip and wonderful Thanksgiving and hardly any problems for me.
December I have had a few problems with chest pain and irregular beats again. I know that this is "normal" for me but it never gets any easier. I get so frustrated at the time and have to remind myself to breathe and why I am fighting to stay alive in the first place. By no means is what I go through easy and half the time I am not sure how I even do it but on the other hand someone always has it harder off than I do. I just thank God for my family, friends "bunco ladies" and husband. They keep me sane and Dewon is really my rock. The way he scoop me up when I am hurting and comforts me is amazing and I am truly blessed to have someone who loves me and takes care of me the way he does.
Well here is to a New Year. Let's see what 2012 has in store for me :)
